Welcome
Welcome to Team Zoe.
My name is Debby and I am a Cancer Warrior. My story is long and boring and I'll save it for another day, as I'd rather talk about Zoe. Because, well, I *am* her mom.
Zoe is my eight year-old daughter. She is my heart, my joy, and a typical second grader. She makes me laugh, and sometimes she makes me cry. Usually I'm crying because she makes me laugh. And she wanted to have her own team for the Light the Night for Leukemia walkathon we will be doing in September and October 2008.
But as we thought more about it, we wanted to have a place where we can talk about why we do what we do. Why we are committed to informing people about leukemia and why we want to raise funds to help find the cure. And as her mother, I am amazed at what I have seen her do. I think children have the power to change our world. So it is a great honor to roll out .... Team Zoe.
Because we can do this.
Your assignment for today is to tell us who you are. I like to know where people are from. We write lots of letters, so sometimes we might send you one. I hope you all can stick around for a while.

I love the site and the cause. Count me in for some support!
Thank you for sharing the information with me this morning at The UPS Store. I am definitely going to learn more about it and what I can do to help and support. Thanks again.

Ran across your blog today hopping links from my friend, Mary Ayala. Thought you might enjoy this upbeat track from Staci Wallace, a new friend who lives here in Hot Springs, Ark. I just met her a few days ago, but I keep finding other folks who agree the chorus of her song: It's not over 'til I win!
